CUSTOM ORDER PROOFS: Proofs are included in the price of all CUSTOM orders. Proofs are a "layout" of the design to see general placement and select font. I am not a computer and though I do my absolute best to be precise, my signs are hand painted. Should more than 3 revisions to your proof be required, this may add to the production time of your order. Once you have approved the proof and painting has begun, there are no changes permitted.
If LOCAL PICKUP is selected at checkout, once your order is complete you will receive an email with my address and instructions on how to schedule a pickup. Pickup within 2 weeks of this email is very much appreciated. If your order is not picked up within 6 months, it will be considered abandoned.
There are NO returns/exchanges. If you have any concerns regarding your order once you receive it, please message me to discuss.
All signs are unique just as each piece of wood is unique. The wood may not look exactly as it is in the shop pictures - grain/knot placement. Though we use quality materials, we cannot be held responsible for wood damage over time such as exposure to excessive moisture or splitting. All signs are sealed with a spray sealant that may visible under certain lighting. Your sign could be +/- 0.5".
Once a sign has left our possession, we are no longer responsible for damage. Please take care when hanging or affixing to your wall. I prefer to hang on a nail that is securely nailed into a stud as opposed to just drywall.

Why do you take orders so far in advance?
Turnaround time varies throughout the year but the information on the home page is always current for the day you order. During busier times of the year (ie. Mother's Day, Father's Day, Fall, & Christmas) I book up a lot sooner so you have to think ahead. During other times of they year, the turnaround time is closer to 4 weeks, why? Because although this is my full time job, the process each order goes through takes a fair amount of time, from order and collecting the supplies, cutting/sanding/prepping the wood, staining and painting the background, creating the design (if it's a custom order) and communicating with the customer, actually painting the piece and then finally sealing, finishing & packaging.
I ordered something custom, when will I receive my proof?
This varies, I prefer to do my proofs closer to when I'm going to paint my order so that the design and all of our conversations regarding the proofs are fresh in my mind when I paint. I also tend to do things in batches, in the hopes of being more efficient. For example I will spend a few days prepping, cutting, staining, a whole bunch of orders, then work on proofs, then paint etc. If you have any questions about your order, feel free to email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
I ordered something but I see you have delivered the same item to one of your stockists...?
I no longer keep stock in my studio, it sells too fast. Everything headed to my stockists is pre-ordered by them and I have an agreement to make deliveries at certain intervals. If you see that I've dropped off a sign you ordered, it was most likely arranged/pre-ordered before you. I assure you that if you placed an order on my website it is in-process but should you have any questions, please contact me at email@example.com
Do you ship?
Yes! I ship Canada-Wide
but some items require custom shipping quotes because of their size. Typically we use Canada Post.
I selected local pickup, when will my order be ready? Where do I pick it up?

. Once your order is ready you will receive an email (or a message if we have been communicating already on social media) with instructions on how to schedule a pickup and with the exact address in East Maple Ridge.
Can I pick up at one of your stockists?
I do not work at these stores, I am merely a supplier. I do not offer pick up from them. Everything that gets delivered to their stores is available first come, first served. As of the time of this page's creation, most stockists will not hold items without payment. Please contact them
if you have questions about what's in stock.
Do you take custom orders? Can I see the design before I order?
Yes I take custom orders! Although the proof process is included with your order, I don't work on proofs without payment.
Are your prices negotiable?
Unfortunately no. I have taxes, insurance, and set supply costs. On lots of orders I end up making less than minimum wage as I spend more time on it than budgeted.
